Following the success of the Corona Sunsets Festival World Tour which launched in Cape Town last year, festival goers were once again looking forward to another iconic sunset experience hosting the best in global music & lifestyle entertainment. But unfortunately the weather had other plans for us, as the festival was cancelled due to the Cape Town Storms.

Since the activities were all cancelled, we decided to hit the streets. Saturday evening, we had dinner by Life Grand Café at V&A Waterfront. I honestly thought this restaurant turns into groove, in the evening but no hey. This was actually more relaxed chilled, laid back, comfortable and chic. It’s a striking blend of contemporary cool and classic. Met really interesting bunch of people and got on like a house on fire and like they say. The rest is history.
I really wanted to do a lot while visiting Cape Town, but the weather just didn’t want to come and play. Most places were closed down due to the storms and I spent most of the time indoors, at the hotel. But I must thank the team at CSA global, Lindile Ndwayana and Wongie Mafilika for hosting me throughout weekend. Very professionals’ individuals and lovely human beings. I wish I had more to write about but yeah, it was actually a chilled weekend out.
